Hey Summit,
Well, if our Fall Fest wasn’t a hit, I don’t know what is!
We had an amazing turnout with around 200 folks joining
in the fun, and from the carnival games to the (slightly
haunted) hayride, everyone seemed to be in great spirits!
A big thank you to our dedicated volunteers who made it all
possible – and a special shout-out to our bounce house
company for giving us a deal sweeter than any candy apple!
Don’t forget: Daylight Saving Time ends this weekend, so be
sure to “fall back” on Saturday night. We’d hate to see you early
on Sunday … but then again, there’s no harm in being first to the
coffee!
Starting this Sunday, we’re kicking off our new series, The Power of
Giving: Passing the Plate. Every Sunday in November, we’ll pass the
plate during the morning service for tithes and offerings. Be sure to
give something in the plate every week. Even if it's just a Dollar.
My hope is to remind us that giving is a habitual mindset as well as
joyful act. And on the final Sunday, we’ll come together for a special
Harvest Offering to support our church’s general fund. Let’s consider
this an opportunity to give joyfully and remember the blessings we share.

Sunday (or at least at the right time)!
